Sweet Thing performs Lorraine at the Great Heart Festival in 2011, formerly known as the ‘NXNE Picnic‘
Live in Bellwoods: Great Heart Festival announce they’re back for another four days of music under the sun next month.
The (free!) event will take place in of my favourite spots in Toronto, Trinity Bellwoods park, during NXNE this June. The event, presented by music and culture agencies Young Lions Music Club and Humble Empire, is the perfect way to spend the summery days of NXNE before heading out to see the nights’ offerings.
Within two hours of its announcement, the event’s Facebook page already has over two hundred attendees – and that’s without even listing a lineup. Keep checking the site for updates on participating acts and additional information.
When: June 13th-16th, every afternoon
Where: In the sunshine, on the green grass of Trinity Bellwoods Park
