Michael Ian Black to Perform at the Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival
The 8th annual TOsketchfest adds renowned comedian and authour Michael Ian Black to its roster

It has just been announced that American comedian, Michael Ian Black, will be joining the Headliner Series at the 8th Annual Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival. Michael Ian Black‘s career has brought him from television, to film, to writing (and now to Toronto), and he has over a million followers on Twitter — so you know he’s legit. Select acting credits of Black’s include his Comedy Central TV show, Michael and Michael Have Issues, and the satirical movie, Wet Hot American Summer. Black is also a bestselling authour with his recent memoir, You’re Not Doing It Right: Tales of Marriage, Sex, Death and Other Humiliations, being put into development for a sitcom on a major network.

Check out Black’s brand of schadenfreude humour…

…then try out his tips the next time you board an airplane, or maybe make a similar entrance when you see his show at the comedy festival this March.

Also known as TOsketchfest, the event is the largest independent comedy festival in Canada and features over 40 sketch troupes and comedians performing at various theatres around Toronto from March 7-17. Black joins performers like Bruce McCulloch and Eugene Mirman as a Headliner, and can be seen Tuesday, March 12 at the Randolph Theatre at 8pm.
