Apparently it’s world Panda Awareness Week (PAW), and people are taking the occasion very seriously in London. 108 enthusiastic panda supporters dressed up as their favourite bear and flooded the streets, subways, and various other public spaces of London’s Trafalgar Square.
The ‘pandas’ also performed a dance created by Chengdu Panda Base, a giant panda research centre in Southwest China’s Sichuan province– each of the 108 ‘pandas’ represent the real-life equivalents who live in Chengdu. [Huffington Post UK]
