It’s a fact: cats love paper bags and cardboard boxes. The furry little guys like curling up in snug spaces, and these household items fit the bill. If I had a cat treat for the number of times I’ve seen my roommate’s cat crawl into paper bags that were left out, from paper LCBO sacks to shopping bags with handles (that I subsequently swing him around in), well, I’d have a lot of cat treats.
But no one keeps cardboard boxes and bags in their house indefinitely as toys and lodgings for their cats, because they’re a bit of an eyesore. Which is why, with a cat teepee or cat cabin, both constructed entirely out of cardboard, both cat and loving human will be delighted.
Canadian pet specialists Loyal Luxe design innovative houses (each based on classic symbols of Canadian iconography) for small pets made from 100% recycled cardboard. Assembly takes less than five minutes and requires only folding.
Don’t have a cat? They’re perfect for rabbits, ferrets and really small dogs too.
Don’t have any pets? It’s OK, we won’t tell.
The Native American Teepee for Fluffy Little Critters and The Canadian Cabin for Fluffy Little Critters are both available for $24.
