Did you ever wonder if comedians are actually funny in their off time? According to Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee, a web series in which Jerry Seinfeld and friends go in cars and get coffee, they are.
The series, which returns for a second season today, gives you the chance to watch two of your favourite comedians interact and riff off each other in a convincingly realistic setting. The past season included guests such as Larry David, Alec Baldwin, and Ricky Gervais among others. The premiere features Seinfeld hanging out with Sarah Silverman, who shares her thoughts on the correlation between real housewives and ultimate fighting, donuts that look like body parts, and scientology:
“I’ve been working on this new bit about Scientology, that it’s only weird to us because it’s new. We make fun of it because it’s batshit crazy, but it’s no more batshit crazy than Catholicism. It’s new to hear people worship a guy name Ron.”
