Presumably based on a New Yorker comic strip that shows Waldo looking bummed at a bar with the caption “Nobody ever asks how’s Waldo,” well How’s Waldo is a Tumblr that does just that. Waldo has finally been humanized, given a story, becoming not just the mysterious transient capable of rapidly travelling through time and space. The images still require that you find the striped and bespectacled man, but leaves a more poignant, philsophical taste in one’s mouth: 

“At a crowded beach. Appearance-wise, he has plenty in common with them. Everything, really. So why can’t he feel at ease? Smile, socialize. Always instead that dull ache, which by now has become his companion: the feeling of being watched – hunted, almost.”
