Broken Pencil, an independent arts and culture magazine based in Toronto, recently released a mobile app called “The Nub Indie Arts Hub,” which allows users free access to content from Broken Pencil and other great independent Canadian magazines. It’s available for both iPhone/iPad and Android devices, and is beautifully designed. It offers users new content 5 days a week, and every day features a new column, interviews, or story from one of the participating magazines. Magazines currently included in the app are Geist magazine, Taddle Creek magazine, Subterrain Magazine and Matrix Magazine.
The app is available on iTunes for Mac devices, and the Google Play store for Android, and is completely free.
