Broken Social Scene Returns for One Night Only
BSS plays the summer super-show not to be missed

Back for one night only, Broken Social Scene, the band that put Canadian indie-rock on the map will come together to play Field Trip, a festival celebrating the 10th anniversary of their record label, Arts & Crafts. The show, scheduled for June 8th at Fort York and Garrison Common, will also feature performances by Feist, Jason Collett, and Bloc Party, among others from the label (you can stream the festival playlist here) and showcase local art and food alongside the musical performances. Tickets go on sale this Wednesday.

Broken Social Scene played their last show over a year ago, so it will be interesting to see what the band chooses to perform, and whether fruits of the member’s other projects will see stage time. Knowing the band’s penchant for experimentation, our bet is yes.
