It’s not so much a break up as it is an indefinite hiatus. But it is goodbye for now to these scene stalwarts. They’ll be joined onstage by The Rural Alberta Advantage, Snowblink, The Wooden Sky and The Acorn.
When: Saturday September 7, 8pm
Where: The Great Hall
How Much: $20
There’s a really good Hannibal Buress joke about Odd Future that I think you should hear it. It really puts the whole Tyler the Creator thing into perspective.
When: Sunday September 8, 7pm
Where: Sound Academy
How Much: $29.50 – $49.50
Taste of the Kingsway
“A food and entertainment extravaganza for the whole family.” Cool.
When: All weekend
Where: The Kingsway BIA (On Bloor Street West. between Prince Edward Drive and Montgomery Road)
How Much: It’s free but some of the things there will cost money. It’s a street festival so there are multiple vendors — some of them charge money for the goods they sell.
