Rain or shine, flood or heatwave, Yonge and Dundas had us covered last month with a consistently sweet lineup of movies and music to distract us from that ever-changing weather. This month they’re back with more cult classic screenings and indie music nights, heating up the last month of the summer with boys from Don Corleone to the Coen Brothers – and new in August’s outdoor screenings are double feature nights, so you can catch two films without getting up from your fold-out chair. Musical highlights include the guy that Dazed and Confused called the hip hop saviour, Cadence Weapon, plus the genre-hopping six-piece groove soul and electric rock group JD Edwards Band. Check out what else is on the menu for this month as Yonge and Dundas celebrates their 10th anniversary of good stuff in the square:

PLUS: Chip enthusiasts will be happy to know that they can pick up some free Pringles and things this Thursday in the square for Pringles Party Tricks, complete with games like Pringles Mini Putt and Pringles-Pong. Once you pop the fun don’t stop, they’re saying.
