Find the daily lunch location of this truck by following #ChaseTheChase on Twitter.
Being a man in the modern world is great, but there is one small thing that I yearn for from the olden days: the thrill of the chase and the satisfaction of hunting and killing my own food. Fine, maybe that’s a lie, but The Chase Fish & Oyster did make chasing my food pretty damn fun. The tasty bivalve peddler has taken to the streets of Toronto, offering free samples of menu items. That’s right, free samples. But here’s the catch (pun intended): this is one truck you have to track down on your own by following the hashtag #ChaseTheChase.
Toronto Standard is cracking this case wide open to let you know that for the first days of the truck’s four week fishy jaunts, you can catch lobster rolls at the northeast corner of Yonge and Bloor. And guess what: one of those days is today until 2 p.m. If you’re already booked up for lunch today, you can catch them on the same corner June 6 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
In addition to the free food, The Chase Fish & Oyster truck is holding a photo contest for those lucky enough to spot the truck. If you can snap a photo in time, tag it with #ChaseTheChase for a chance at a VIP dining experience.
The restaurant, from the people behind e11even, is set to open at the end of June at the corner of Yonge and Temperance.
Don’t be shellfish, spread the word!
When: Today 11AM – 2PM, again on Thursday, June 6th
Where: North East corner of Yonge & Bloor
How Much: Nada, Zip, Zilch
