Pez Yourself
Toronto shop uses Xbox Kinect sensor for a truly indispensable dispenser

Fame, immortality, Pez: it seems us modern folk really can have it all. Toronto’s Hot Pop Factory has found a way of turning your face into a Pez dispenser, leading me to wonder: What else would you ever use a 3D printer for?

The cut-throat procedure involves decapitating another dispenser, before placing your noble bust on top. Look on my works, ye Mighty, and despair!” The process involves creating a 3D scan of your head with an Xbox Kinect sensor (yup, the motion gaming system). The manufacturers then clean-up this scan with a MeshMixer tool, before mounting your cranium on its noble plastic pedestal.

But as we all know, with great power comes great rsponsibility. So please, use it carefully
