The Sherbourne lanes are the first of a square of planned bike lanes on Wellesley St., Richmond St. or and Adelaide St. As of yet, Council can’t decide on the west-side north-south lane hasn’t been decided on at all because according to public works chairman Denzil Minnan-Wong, “There’s been opposition to it on a number of angles, especially on council.”
