Indie rockers that look this will be playing at Yonge-Dundas Square for free this summer
Brush up on your jazz flute, toss on your Vote for Pedro t-shirt and sharpen your scissorhands: Cult Classic movies are coming to Yonge-Dundas Square for free. Anchorman, Napoleon Dynamite and Edward Scissorhands will all be screened as part of the square’s Tuesday night outdoor film series through the month of July. In addition to the film programming, Yonge-Dundas will host free country-rock from Danielle Duval and a Zeppelin cover band as part of their Indie Fridays. The programming is presented by sponsors City Cinemas and Virgin Mobile, teaming up to bring arts and culture to the spot on the weekly. Here’s the full lineup:
