Collector's Edition: 50 Shades of Yellow
Here comes the sun

With the days as hot as they’ve been and the sun shining bright, who wants to wear black? Well, I do since my closet is full of it. But even I have to admit that bright shades look best during the summertime. So why not give as good as you’re getting by stocking up on as many shades of yellow as you can find? Lemon, mustard, gold, maize, saffron, cream, amber…your options are limitless.

1. Not only are you protecting against the sun, but you’re practically projecting it too. (Nasty Gal neon circle shades, $40)

2. This bag has the texture and look of a delicious honeycomb…but please don’t lick it. (Judith Leiber crystal clutch, $2,900)

3. These shoes give ‘walking on sunshine’ a whole new meaning. (Madewell patent sidewalk skimmer, $108)

4. Plug this into your iPhone and walk down the street talking into it. Please? (HMV yellow retro hand phone, $15)

5. I don’t know what’s brighter, the yellow beads or the crystal centre. (Shay Lowe yellow statement necklace, $675)

6. All that glitters is gold…and fabulous. (Jenny Packham yellow sequin cocktail dress, $2,820)

7. Comfy, sexy and bright as the sun. What more do you need? (Elizabeth and James Otto asymmetric satin trapeze dress, $495)

8. I can’t be the only person whose sole purpose for buying hats like this is to pretend I’m Scarlett O’Hara, can I?(Etsy floppy yellow hat, $20)

9. Declare your love for all things sunshine related. (Marc by Marc Jacobs heartbeat bangle, $55)
