Event Tilt is crowdfunding for events
Putting together an event can be a financial burden waiting to happen. Overhead costs are high and if tickets don’t sell, then you’re out more money than before. Because of this, some event planners throw in the towel early, before the event even has a chance. But, what if their event was going to be the next big thing? That’s why Event Tilt was created by local company, Picatic.
Event Tilt allows users to post tickets for a discounted price. By purchasing a ticket, fans vote the event up. If enough tickets are purchased, then the event will “tilt” and become a reality. If the event does not tilt, then fans are given a full penalty-free refund.
Picatic is the most cost-effective ticketing service on the market, says content strategist Nicole Parmar, who dreamt up Event Tilt with CEO Jayesh Parmar while in Silicon Valley. Parmar says the pair realized how large the ticking market is and decided to make a stand-out product.
Event Tilt was created for use with any event no matter how large or small. Currently, there are events for celebrity Michael J. Fox and for local roller derby.
Event Tilt offers “Login with Facebook” and live support, should you have an issue.
