Another day, another spoof making fun of the Ford clan.
This time a man named Michael Dunbar Jr—or someone who’s been using that name as a pseudonym—decided to make fun of the Fords’ favourite verbal tick. Yes, the ever famous “folks” became the target of his ire.
The flyer he created has been making its rounds over at Reddit. Dunbar even managed to sneak a couple of his pamphlets among Doug Ford’s official literature at a recent debate.
Of course, Doug and his brother Rob are no strangers to being spoofed. Last week, Jeremy Wright, a VP at a local marketing firm, pretended to be Doug Ford on the up and coming social network Ello. He later wrote an interesting post about the experience of impersonating Doug Ford for the Huffington Post. In short, it turns a lot of people took the joke too seriously.
That said, with a month left in the city’s mayoral campaign, I imagine there will be more ingenious spoofs to come. [via blogTO]
