It’s genius: two cheerful guys and a portable oven who produce personal-sized, authentic, transportatively-delicious Italian pizza in 5 minutes, on the fly. Watch out Libretto.
Somebody should fund this (it’s a smart efficient business with lots of potential to scale) and unleash true pizza fast food style on an unsuspecting, mass-delivery world. What a public service that would be. You can find the Pizza Roventers (it means baking hot in Italian, natch) at a Toronto food event near you. The 2-3 item menu changes weekly but always features the can’t-lose $6 margherita. We recommend the prosciutto with garlicscapes featured this week, a bit pricier than their usual options at $12 but worth it for their amazing organic prosciutto alone. Heavenly airy crust with rich smoky sauce. Brava, entrepreneurs!
