Toronto will bear witness to a rare celestial event this evening.
At approximately 5:40 pm, there will be a partial eclipse of the sun. The moon is expected to cover a third of the sun as it sets in the western sky. The eclipse will be visible until the sun sets.
And with an absolutely cloudless sky in the forecast, conditions should be perfect for some star gazing. Just, um, don’t stare directly at the sun unless you want to go blind, okay? [via blogTO]
