Rob Ford Set to Appear on American Sports Talk Radio
On a show called the Sports Junkies.

When Rob Ford told the O’Reilly Factor’s Jesse Watters that he was “loving” the attention he’s receiving in the wake of his crack scandal, it seemed far-fetched. But we’re starting to believe him after announcing his own YouTube series, an interview with Conrad Black, and his newest gig, as a guest commentator on a Washington-based sports radio show entitled, ahem, the Sports Junkies, which airs on 106.7 the Fan Thursday mornings at 8:40.

The mayor’s chief of staff, David Jacobs, confirmed Ford’s new deal with the Sports Junkies earlier today. “I can confirm that the mayor will be on 106.7 The Fan in Washington, D.C. tomorrow morning,” he said to the Globe and Mail.

There’s no word on whether this is a one-off or will be a recurring mission, but either way, we’re impressed.

Who’s his agent? They’re working overtime right now. At this pace, Ford’s a shoe-in for the Mike Tyson cameo in the Hangover 4, should they ever get around to making it.
