After analyzing the survey responses of over 340,000 Americans, researchers at New York’s Stony Brook University have concluded that people hate Mondays just as much as they hate Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
Fridays, however, are the exception: That’s the one weekday people don’t seem to mind.
“Despite our global beliefs about lousy Mondays, we conclude that this belief should be abandoned,” said Prof. Arthur Stone, author of the study which was recently published in theJournal of Positive Psychology. [Gawker]
