Welcome to the new TorontoStandard.com
Our city is always changing. Sometimes it changes faster than we’d like. Sometimes not fast enough. Sometimes the changes feel overdue, and other times they feel unwelcome. The other day, for example, we noticed that an old favourite video store will now be a spa and yoga place. We loved that video store. Then again, we never really went there.
So change is ineluctable, and if you don’t make it yourself, someone else will make it for you. Yes, Toronto Standard only launched in April of 2011, and for most people (boring people) (kidding) now is too soon for a redesign. But it’s a fast city. And the internet is demanding. Our audience keeps expanding globally as more people become aware of what we have established. We hope you like the Standard 2.0 and all the swank new features we’ve implemented to make your experience here even better.
Please ensure you upgrade your internet browser to the most recent version. It works best on Chrome, Firefox or Safari. We have implemented the feedback from our audience into the new site to make it easier to navigate and search. There are more Toronto Standard videos, including the latest in that series you love so much, Made in Toronto, and there’s a curated video channel Daily Cable TV filled with our favourite distractions.
Also we certainly kept our award-winning adaptive design layout feature that allows you to easily view the Standard on tablets and phones.
Enjoy. Discuss. And don’t forget to subscribe to our Newsletters, like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter.
Thank you.
