The Costanzo siblings have done it again! Len, Toronto’s preeminent late 90s radio band, best known for the timeless 1999 hit “Steal My Sunshine,” have released their first new single – and corresponding video – in almost a decade. “It’s My Neighbourhood” is an homage to the T Dot almost entirely composed of establishing shots of the city’s skyline, regular folks bopping their heads to the beat and b-roll of various “neighbourhood” activities. As if we didn’t already know that Toronto is “where we get the jam jam, rock out with the fam fam.” This video will fill you with an uncharacteristic civic pride. It will compel you to climb to the top of your neighbourhood and shout, “This is my Toronto! This is my CTV News!”
The only question: Is it radio friendly or too radio friendly?
