Tell us a bit about yourself.
I’m a DJ, Producer, and Dachshund owner – his name is Tony.
Where and how was this mix recorded?
It was recorded in my apartment on Serato and an old Numark mixer.
What was the idea behind the mix?
I wanted to put forth some of my favourite electronic music that I don’t always get to play. It goes through a few moods and ends up with some new stuff from Hiawatha.
In your own words, can you describe the sound of Lucie Tic?
I play everything from classic rock to left field techno. I’m definitely not a music snob, but I like to challenge people.
Where can Toronto Standard’s readers see you perform next?
Toronto Standard readers can see me at my monthly party, SLOWED. The next one is on Friday, December 7, and it’s with with RL Grime and Torro Torro. Usually it’s always at Wrongbar, but this time we’re at The Hoxton. I’ll also be opening for Bondax on Saturday, December 8 at The Drake Hotel. Every Thursday I play a wide range of tunes at Spin Galactic . Finally, please check out a new community project I’m involved with called the Neighbourhood Music Watch.
