September 21st marks World Alzheimer’s Day and Alzheimer’s Disease International is asking you to donate your Facebook timeline for the day in order to raise awareness for the disease. You can donate your timeline by using their new app, which erases users’ pictures, status updates, videos and friends for the day of September 21st. Users’ information will be swapped for a message which reads: “Imagine your life without memories. For 36 million people living with Alzheimer’s disease, this is reality.” No information is actually lost as all settings return back to normal the following day. The app’s intention is to give users a better understanding of what it means to live with Alzheimer’s Disease.
