Just when you thought the Internet couldn’t get any stranger, along comes this nugget of weird. “Mayor Ford (The World Will Remember)” is a three-minute ode to the Mayor himself, which praises him as the “cost cowboy” and “rollback viceroy” of the city. 

For those who are skeptical of the song’s intentions, I assure you this song is 100% serious. Scandals are dismissed as “the crazy accusations [that] won’t break apart the Ford Nation,” and are paired with far-fetched images of Ford with a crackpipe.

The piece is the brainchild of local singer-songwriter Jenny James, who is set to perform the diddy tonight at Ford Fest.
