Man drives wrong way on Gardiner
A 23-year-old man is facing an impaired driving charge after driving the wrong way on the Gardiner Expressway on Friday morning, according to 680 News.
Heading east in the westbound lanes and driving at 60 kilometres an hour, Toronto police stopped the driver at Parkside Drive before 4 a.m.
Luckily, the driver did not hit or harm a car, person or object while travelling.
The driver had his breath checked at the scene, and was subsequently charged.
Loblaw recalls 2 more frozen beef products
The Loblaw Companies grocery chain has recalled two additional frozen beef products from the shelves due to a possible E. coli bacteria contamination.
Butcher’s Choice Hickory Barbecue Beef Burgers, with best-before dates of Feb.1 and Feb. 10, and Butcher’s Choice Garlic Peppercorn Beef Burgers, with a best-before date of March 3, are the two affected products.
Four cases of E. Coli infection prompted a Canadian Food Inspection Agency investigation, which is now monitoring the recalls.
However, it is not yet known, according to the Canadian Press, if the E. Coli strain is linked to a food source, or directly linked to the aforementioned burgers.
Hugh Jackman vs. PSY
The Les Miserables cast are taking over the world, or at least all possible press outlets. With memorable cast appearances on the Today Show, the Late Show with David Letterman and Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Hugh Jackman paid a visit to The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on Thursday night.
Of course, the Aussie actor took this as an opportunity to show off his Gangnam Style prowess. Jackman, who plays Jean Valjean in the movie musical, received one-on-one Gangnam dance lessons from PSY earlier this year.
But the real question is… Who does it better?
