Here’s Dori
“My picture is NOT going in The Post!” screamed NYC socialite, Dori Cooperman, as news photographers chased her outside Manhattan Criminal Court. Of course, her picture would go in The Post, along with the taunting words, “Oh no?” Here’s Cooperman in all her agape-mouth glory in the paper, and judging by the slug (hey_dori_here_your_picture), The New York Post is loving every minute of it.
Socialite and society blogger, Cooperman, was found guilty of shattering the passenger door window on a cab when she didn’t want to pay the $22.50 fare. When cops arrived they found a small amount of cocaine on her before she proceeded to smash one of their car windows, too. The 41-year-old Cooperman’s lavish lifestyle of furs and snakeskin stilletos is supported by her father, former chairman of Travelers Bank Group, but when daddy can’t protect against photographers, this socialite will throw a tantrum. Cooperman exited the courthouse to a waiting group of news photographers and exclaimed, “This is a fucking pain in my fucking ass!” before making the now empty photo vow vis—Ã —vis The Post. Maybe next time she’ll pay the fare she can more than easily afford, but until then The Post gets the laugh last and another socialite is thwarted.
