Greek Week is finally here — without the frat boys in togas.
Greek Film & Foto Week will remain open to the public this week after a successful launch this weekend. You can watch the festival’s winning short film, Bob Goes to the Parthenon, here. While the film section of the event came to a close yesterday, the show’s photography exhibit at the Burroughes (639 Queen St. W) is still going strong. Presented in conjunction with CONTACT, the exhibition definitely merits a lengthy visit, if not just a quick peek.
Showcasing work from over twenty photographers of Greek descent (including Toronto Standard‘s own Voula Monoholias), the event presents their unique perspectives. For an overview of participating photographers and any other info on the event, check out the week’s official site here.
