Oh, how we want one of these. Perhaps you’ve been there? You have a date and you’d like to bring a bottle of vino to loosen the mood. You venture out on the trusty velocipede to pick one up, but you’ve forgotten your bag in the excitement and don’t want to ride one-handed or let the precious fluid bounce out of your basket along the way. The solution is the leather wine rack, handmade in Montreal by Oopsmark designer Jesse Herbert.
Trust a Montrealer to come up with something so ingeniously devoted to cycling and wine. It attaches to any 1″ bike frame with nice antique-looking brass fasteners, and a metal clamp to hold it all in place. Capable of holding three different types of bottle, the leather holster is treated with oil and so, like a Brooks bike seat, only gets better with age and use. Long live wine and peddle power, but not necessarily the drinking of wine while you peddle. For that you’ll need some adaptation of the beer hat.
