Explore the array of Pan-Asian cuisine, culture and artistic expression that Fortune Cooking has to offer at Harbourfront Centre. From August 9 through 11, this festival delves into the progression of trends and flavours originating in Asia.
Main events include the Ramen Runoff competition ($10/sampler plate), The Chai Tea extravaganza, and a performance by White Jade, “a fashionable electronic-pop band that mixes traditional Chinese music, high-tech visual elements and electronic rhythms.”

A Bit of Clay on the Skin, a new exhibit at the Gardiner Museum – closing weekend
This exhibit features the work of 18 cutting-edge jewellery artists, including: The Netherlands artists Peter Hoogeboom, Evert Nijland and Ted Noten; Gésine Hackenberg of Germany; Spain’s Marie Pendariès; and Shu-Lin Wu of Taiwan.
