I huffed it over to the Brickworks a day early for the Toronto Underground Market–and while I didn’t get anything tasty to eat, I got to see the heart and soul of the indie foodie event. Today was prep day in the catering kitchen, and I got to catch some vendors in action. Everyone was hard at work: Mama’s Le and Nashi had their families helping out, and the atmosphere was friendly and casual–the calm before the storm.
Saturday is crunch time, and these vendors were working hard to make sure that everything will be prepared for the rush.
