Ahhh! So everyone’s favourite 15-year-old teeny-blogger Tavi Gevinson went and got herself a TED Talk. It’s no surprise, really. After all, as Tavi fans know, the continued projection of her very unique girl-voice is super important.
In case you’re unfamiliar with the maven, Tavi became a fashion sensation when she started a fashion blog in 2008. At this point, she had an affection for Comme des Garcons. She was between 10 and 11 years old. In 2011, she launched her own fashion magazine, Rookie Mag, which is basically a reaction to there being no real supportive, alternative magazines for teenage girls. It’s pretty much Sassy reincarnated on the internet.
So because she’s an inspiration to us all (even to 23-year-old gyals like me!), check out her well-composed, sometimes-sarcastic, pretty-much-perfect speech from TED. I predict big big big big big things in this one’s future.
