In more optimistic mayoral news, Calgary’s mayor Naheed Nenshi was voted by the city to be their city’s sexiest man, and most beloved person. This mark the third year in a row in which he’s received these accolades. The survey was conducted by Fast Forward Weekly which publishes an annual Best Of Calgary issue.

The paper asked Nenshi what separated him from Mayor Ford, to which he eloquently responded: “It is important for mayors to not only do the hard work that we do every day to keep the city going, but also to embody the spirit of the city, and that’s something that I try very hard to do every day.”

After receiving the news, Mayor Nenshi took to his twitter account to post: “In related news, eye doctor shortage!”
