Sexcereal, the new granola breakfast food made for those wanting to boost their sex drive and overall health, is about to be seen in a lot more stores. Torontonian Peter Ehrlich came up with the idea while strolling through a vegan food fair. Since it’s inception, health food stores have picked up the cereal and Sobey’s is expected to start testing them in 30 stores next month.
There are two versions, one for men and one for women. The women’s version features a Marylin Monroe type girl on the packaging and supports hormonal balance. It’s ingredients include ginger, cacao nibs, sunflower seeds, chia seeds, almonds, flax seeds and other foods. The men’s version has a nicely built man with a golden spoon on the front and is created to support testosterone production. It contains bee pollen, black sesame, wheat germ, camu camu, pumpkin seeds, and a few other ingredients. Ehrlich believes the ingredients “point the way” to long-term sexual health, and the testimonials on the website also seem to point in that direction.
This past weekend on Dragon’s Den Boston Pizza owner Jim Treliving offered $100,000 for 50 per cent of the company, so now your 60-year-old aunt knows about it. Whether it’s the clever marketing, the sex boost, or the natural benefits to your health, Sexcereal is set to become the sexiest part of a balanced breakfast.
