Drake broods in a denim jacket
Drake released a new track early this morning titled “All Me”, which opens with a sample from Aziz Ansari and features verses from 2 Chainz and Big Sean. The slow track is a lot more of the same, and mostly just talks about how Drake’s success is all self-made, that he’s lost track of his stacks of money, and that he started from the bottom and is now here. Oh, and that he got laid by his babysitter: “I touched down in ’86 / knew I was a man by the age of 6 / I even fucked the girl that used to babysit / but that was years later on some crazy shit.”
Looks like there’s plenty that started from the bottom for Aubrey, including an Elektra Complex. #DrizzyPsychoanalysis
He released the track via Twitter at 1:00 am, touting that the song will soon be Your New Anthem. New anthem or not, the Aziz Ansari sample is a pretty nice touch, plucked from his delusional, self-aggrandizing character Randy from Judd Apatow’s Funny People.
Drake’s OVO Fest will roll out next Monday, August 5th at the Molson Amphitheatre in Toronto.
