Most Toronto kids are stressed out
A survey of 103,000 Toronto students from Grades 7 to 12 found the majority of these minors are nervous or anxious part of the time.
In a report released by the Toronto District School Board on Tuesday, 73 per cent of high school students were found to be worried about their future, whereas 60 per cent of Grade 7 and 8 students experienced similar feelings.
680 News reports this was the first time the board surveyed its students on mental health issues, and nearly 90 per cent of the student population participated.
The survey’s findings have pushed the school board to commit to, and create, a mental health support plan for its students by September.
Ottawa is Canada’s most adulterous city
Surprise? Ottawa is Canada’s most adulterous city, according to the founder of AshleyMadison.com, a matchmaking site for those who ‘cheat.’
Noel Biderman told the Canadian Press that among the new registrations his site has earned across the country, Ottawa is followed by Calgary, and Edmonton is in third. The motto of AshleyMadison.com reflects its purpose, as it is, “Life is short, have an affair.”
However, Biderman also told the news agency this number, or ranking, is not necessarily indicative of straying behaviour, and may show the cities to be more free-spirited than others.
Bruce Willis is “Pope Material”
Bruce Willis is “Pope Material,” according to John McClane himself.
Willis stopped by the Late Show with David Letterman on Tuesday wearing a papal-esque tiara. He even went to ‘bless the audience,’ but not without asking Letterman for permission first.
But, this is not the first time Willis has transformed a talk show appearance thanks to his unique and usually topical headgear. In 2010, the Die Hard star appeared on the Late Show wearing a meat toupee in an ode to Lady Gaga’s meat dress.
