Double, double toil and trouble, Shakespeare in High Park is back for it’s 31st season with not one but two productions for the first time in over twenty years. Tonight, July 3rd will see the opening of Macbeth, The Scottish Play, while Shakespeare’s controversial comedy The Taming of the Shrew will open Tuesday, July 16th. The shows will be running on alternate nights, with Macbeth on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, and The Taming of the Shrew on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, all at 8pm.
New this year, you can book seats online and pay with debit or credit at the gate (tickets are pay-what-you-can). Find out more about the performances on Facebook or on the Canadian Stage website.
It will have blood; they say, blood will have blood. Cool.
