Toronto Ad Agency Creates Mock Viral Video Advertisement
“Anywhere there is a button, we could be collecting clicks; elevators, pin pads, Whack-A-Mole...”

“These days, views are everything,” says the satirical video, Buyral in a sad-but-true statement. Created by Toronto-based ad agency john st., the video mocks businesses that base their entire existence on the number of clicks they receive. The video, and accompanying website, are a clever attempt to humble potential clients into thinking beyond the clicks and about what really makes a good campaign or product.

As someone who has been dumped or scolded by clients who obsess over click numbers, I can definitely relate. Next time I’ll be sure to point them in the way of Buyral to suit all of their click-counting needs.
