If you a bad bike, put yo’ hands up high.
Bike Month runs from May 27 to June 30, and CycleTO and the City of Toronto want you to brave these big bad streets (full of sharks, etc.) to do some good for your commute, your health, and the environment.
Events around the city will encourage bike safety, bike commutes, fostering discussion on bicycling and urban planning, and offer free basic repairs. Some of the cooler events this week include the Tour de Dufflet, which rewards your workout with free baked goods, free coffee for morning cyclists at the ING Direct Café every Friday, and Rob Ford Rides the City, which challenges the Mayor to interact with some cyclists for a day and learn more about the issues they face every day.
Find more information on Bike Month here, and don’t forget your helmet and cyclist etiquette!
