Men, set down your razors; Movember is here. For the month of November, men around the globe will grow their Mo’s to raise money and promote awareness for men’s health and prostate cancer.
By registering through the Movember website, participants will become a part of the Mo community and be able to share their stories and track their fundraising.
For extra Mo-tivation, Movember enlisted the help of actor Nick Offerman, known for playing the famously mustachioed Ron Swanson on NBC’s Parks and Recreation. His tips include “learn to love again,” “eat a raw onion,” and “smell wood.” The Movember website is also chock-full of real tips regarding fundraising, mustache styling and more.
The Movember Mobile app allows participants to track their fundraising on the go. The year, the app has been updated with a Mo Tracker. Users can take photos of their growth each day and then export the compilation into an animated GIF.
All that’s left is deciding which style of Mo to grow. Luckily, Movember has a Pinterest for that.
The best moustaches even have a chance to make it into the Hall of Fame.
