Momo the dog, a black and white border collie, has been hidden in the scenes of pictures taken by his owner, Andrew Knapp. What started out as a DIY gift for his nieces and nephews is becoming a book for the masses that’s just like Where’s Waldo (which is Where’s Wally in the UK, in case you didn’t know that either) only with an adorable dog and the sites of Sudbury, Ontario as a backdrop.
The game of spotting Momo is easier said than done. The dog’s spot (pun intended) is carefully chosen with each new site so that his textured fur blends into the scenery; and when the image is a pile of garbage bags it takes a few minutes of squinting to find Momo’s little face. What’s most shocking is that Momo actually sat and posed for these pictures, especially the one that appears to be taken in a crowded natural history museum with a lively display of taxidermied animals. Maybe even dogs have learned that in this digital age, we must all learn to at least sit still when a camera’s pointed at us.
