Screen cap of Nasa’s Foursquare page
Today, NASA’s Curiosity made a daily check-in with the Earth. Normally, that wouldn’t be news, but what makes this check-in special is that Curiosity made it over Foursquare. The event marks the first time there’s been a Foursquare check-in on another planet, and the second time there’s been one from space.
Curiosity will continue to check-in with Foursquare throughout the course of its twenty-three month journey across the surface of Mars, allowing those of us still trapped on Earth to follow its journey and learn more about the red planet. [TechCrunch]
