According to the latest Forum Research poll, John Tory has a 14 percentage point lead going into Monday. It’s one of his most significant leads to date.
The poll, which surveyed 852 people, had 43 per cent of respondents saying they would vote for Tory on Monday, 29 per cent said they would vote for Rob Ford and 25 per cent would vote for Olivia Chow.
Of course, it was only two weeks ago that Forum had declared Tory and Ford locked in a tight race. So, as always, take these polls with a healthy dose of skepticism. Still, it appears election night will unfold in a predictable fashion.
