A Toronto woman is missing, and her family and friends are asking for help from the local community in finding her.
Catherine “Kit” Currie went missing on August 14. She was last seen on the corner of Bathurst and Queen getting on her bike. Currie, 50, is 5’4, has long red hair, brown eyes and a fit, strong build. The resurgence of a past mental health issue might be the cause of her disappearance.
According to an interview her sister, Jennifer Currie-Roy, did with the Toronto Star, “[Currie has] never disappeared or anything before. This is really unusual behaviour.”
Currie-Roy is trying to reach out to anyone willing to help through several social media channels. The Facebook and Twitter pages she’s created to help find her sister can be found here and here. She also put together a Youtube that provides additional information about Currie. It can be seen below.
If you have any information that might help Currie’s family find her, please don’t hesitate to contact them or the proper authorities. [Via Toronto Star]
