Anthony Bourdain, the rabidly popular TV host and author known for writing about working in kitchens and being a former drug addict, took to Reddit to answer the Internet’s questions today to promote his new travel doc series Parts Unknown on CNN. The top rated post, pictured below, set the tone for a unvarnished glimpse into an admittedly already open book. Beyond admiting that Methadone was on his list of never-agains, Bourdain briefly retold his worst experience on drugs: “Combing the shag carpet for paint chips in the hope that they were fallen crack bits. Smoking them anyway.”
Lots more including Bourdain’s thoughts on Quebec’s cuisine, network executives at Travel (the home of his old show No Reservations) and how he “would have robbed your medecine cabinet had [he] been invited to your house,” on Reddit.
